David Lomakin - President

Founder and President of Regency Air LLC, has from age 5, had a passion for flying.  At age 14, he started his aviation career at John Wayne Airport as a student pilot and attained his Commercial and Airline Transport Certificates by his 23rd Birthday.  With a degree in Commercial Aviation, Mr. Lomakin holds numerous Commercial Flight Instructor and Aircraft Type Rating Certificates, in addition to numerous “FAA Check Airman Authorizations”.  Mr. Lomakin currently acts as President and Director of Operations of Regency Air LLC, and resides with his wife Kimberly, in Orange County, California.

Debbie Taaffe - Vice President of Administration

Debbie Taaffe brings twenty years of business management experience, ranging from electronics to mortgage and was a small business owner of a web design firm. Debbie oversees Charter Operations as well as Human Resources, Accounting and all aspects of daily office operations.

Alissa Godoy - Vice President of Marketing

Alissa is a graduate of Biola University with a degree in Business Marketing. Prior to joining the team at Regency, she worked as a research analyst at a Los Angeles based marketing firm. She specialized in managing entertainment, retail, and health related accounts.

Steve Frasier - Chief Pilot

Steve began flying at age 14 and obtained his Private Pilot certificate at age 17.  Throughout his career, Steve has held many positions in the charter industry such as Company Flight Instructor, Check Airman, Assistant Chief Pilot, Chief Pilot and Director of Operations.  Currently, Steve holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate with single-engine, multi-engine and instrument privileges along with various jet type ratings.  He also maintains a Flight Instructor certificate for single-engine, multi-engine and instrument.  As the company Chief Pilot, Steve assists in the supervision of flight crew members assuring that regulations, company policies, procedures, and pilot training are complied with. Steve provides essential guidance to all Regency Air crew members in order to achieve and maintain the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Perry Kremer - Director of Maintenance

Perry Kremer is the Director of Maintenance for Regency Air. His background includes 29 years of practical hands on aviation maintenance experience with small single engine propeller aircraft up through small business jets. Within those years Perry has several years experience as a Supervisor and Chief Inspector with an FAA certified 145 Repair Station which included the oversight of maintenance on aircraft operating under a 135 certificate. He currently holds an A&P certificate for those years worked and an I.A. certificate for three years.

Timothy Lomakin - Company Instructor

Timothy Lomakin has been flying for Regency Air for 6 years and has been involved with Regency Air since it's beginning in 1997. Although he initially was not able to fly because of his young age he was mentored by his father and has now been flying since he was 12 years old. Tim is one of the youngest jet captains flying as a 135 captain today.  Do not let his age fool you, with over 3000 hours of flight time in the Beechjet alone, Tim offers a wealth of knowledge to the pilots he instructs on the line and in the classroom. He also holds type ratings in the Beechjet, King Air 300 and Challenger 604.

Lynn Hay - Marketing

Lynn brings twenty years of experience, with her background in marketing, to Regency Air. With her many years in sales, she has tremendous experience in customer service and management. She was also a small business owner of a telecommunications and clothing company, both California-based. Lynn has an immense passion for the charter aviation industry due to her many years of being involved in the industry. She also has gained an additional 5 years of experience by providing customer service and marketing for a successful FBO in Southern California.

John Klein- Director of Human Resources

John Klein has over 30 years experience in the insurance industry including management of a wide variety of aviation, fire, casualty, health, life and disability, retirement, corporate, 401 (k) and trust accounts. He is uniquely qualified to provide customized coverage’s for owned aircraft (jets, helicopters and light aircraft), excess liability for managed and fractional aircraft, non owned aircraft hull and liability, workers compensation, and excess aviation war risk coverage for European union liability requirements. John’s experience provides a sound foundation on which to build your own safety and loss control programs.

John graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BA in Business Administration, and a Master’s Degree from the International Christian University. He currently serves with Athletes in Action, the Athletic Ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ.

Ray Evans - Regulatory Compliance

Ray Evans has been in the aviation community for 51 years and is the Executive Assistant to the company president.  His background includes 34 years of military service, 22 of which he was an Army Aviator, both fixed and rotary wing qualified.  After retiring from the military, he served 22 years as an Aviation Safety Inspector for the FAA, during which time he was a Principal Operations Inspector, helicopter and jet specialist.  He is type rated in the Boeing 757, 767; LearJet, Falcon 50, Citation 500 series, Beechjet and several helicopter type ratings.  He has held a pilot certificate since 1947 and has been involved in aviation as a professional since 1957.  Ray is a very valued member of the Regency Air team!
